The IOGEAR HDMI Cat 5e/6 Receiver gives you the distance between a 1080p media source and an HD display unit up to 130 feet with 3D support and up to 200 feet at 1080i resolution. The receiver is designed to be use with the IOGEAR line of 4/8 port Cat 5e/6 Splitters (GHSP8214E and GHSP8218E) to provide long distance video and audio transmission over two Cat 5e/6 350MHz twisted pair solid shielded Ethernet cables.

When used with the IOGEAR GHSP8214E and GHSP8218E Cat 5e/6 Splitters, the GH8201ER HDMI Cat 5e/6 Receiver is ideal for home installation, retro-fitting, retail environments, show rooms and large worship centers where multiple remote displays are required. The HDMI Cat 5e/6 Receiver is also useful for control and security purposes, where you can have the system unit in a secure area at the same time that you put the display in an area that is convenient for viewing.
